NEXT WEEK'S SCHEDULE:
Next week CAIS will have an alternative schedule as a result of no school on Friday, October 10th. Due to a calendaring oddity this will create a one-time instance where A and B days will change days for the week. I apologize for the unintentional error and have ensured that in the future when we have three or four-day weeks we will keep A and B days on their regularly scheduled days of the week. That said, we cannot change the schedule for next week, as all three high schools need to stay aligned as a result of the OCSD Shuttle program.
This is our schedule for next week:
MONDAY 10/6 - A DAY
TUESDAY 10/7 - B DAY
WEDNESDAY 10/8 - A DAY & EARLY RELEASE AT 2:20
THURSDAY 10/9 - B DAY
FRIDAY 10/10 - NO SCHOOL

OCSD SHUTTLE:
As a result of this schedule, the OCHS x CAIS Shuttle will run on Monday and Wednesday next week. For students who take the OCSD Shuttle - we will work with you to ensure you understand the updated shuttle schedule and times for Wednesday 10/8 given the early release and will conduct announcements on all three high school campuses that day to help students transition from class to class. For next week the shuttle will run as follows:

CCC COURSES & SCHEDULE CONFLICTS:
For part-time CCC students, I understand that this updated schedule has a major impact on your ability to attend at least some of your classes on the CAIS campus, and I sincerely apologize for how this schedule impacts you. Your priority needs to be to attend your classes at CCC first, and I will work to ensure that if you need to miss classes at CAIS due to this change that we excuse those absences related to this schedule shift. Please check in with teachers at CAIS to ensure that you are staying on top of assignments and we will work to excuse what is not essential if you need to be out for part of next week. Thank you for your understanding, and please reach out to me directly with questions, wonderings, and concerns.

Thank you for your support.

Mike Stead / CAIS Principal
