EXPANDED OPTIONS DECEMBER ON CAMPUS STUDENT MEETING
We are canceling the December meeting. Please reach out with any questions and we will see you in January on the 16th. Please note that this meeting is mandatory.
LOST AND (NOT) FOUND
Please have your student check the lost and found table outside the cafeteria. It has already overflowed, and many items have been bagged up under the table. Items will be thrown away or donated over Winter Break.

A NOTE FROM THE COUNSELING OFFICE
Parents/Guardians
CAIS is adding a new procedure to how we do things and we wanted to let you know of this change. This pertains to outside practitioners who will request scales, assessments or any other student information.
When an outside practitioner requests our staff to fill out any scales, assessments or share student information, we will now be doing that process differently. We will first need a Release of Information (ROI) signed by the parent/guardian for that specific outside practitioner. This can be done through our District ROI form or if the clinic has their own form, that will work as well. These forms can be sent back to the front office. Once we have that on file, the office will be the ones to give the forms out to the staff members and then it will be returned to them as well. The front office will then coordinate with the parent as to how to get the information back to the clinic. They are willing to send the information directly back to the clinic (email, fax or mail) or have the parent pick it up in a sealed envelope.
If the practitioner wants to send the staff an email with a link, we will still need to have the ROI on file before our staff can fill those forms out. We take our students' private information seriously and want to make sure that we have the written permission from you to communicate with that outside practitioner. Thank you for your understanding. We are excited to keep working with you.

PTO is very excited to announce that we are now able to have families submit their BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION products to earn money to be put back into things for CAIS.
